Falkirk Wellbeing Resilience Project Activities

The main purpose of the Falkirk Wellbeing Resilience Project is to provide support to more workers in the Falkirk area during this time of the pandemic with the various associated working and life issues they are encountering including mental health, wellbeing and resilience support.

The project chaplaincy team will provide visits or meetings to workplaces (onsite/offsite/online) providing an independent and impartial listening ear to include those affected by e.g. psychological trauma, bereavement/loss and socio-economic disadvantage and support them towards greater wellbeing.

In addition the team will provide a range of wellbeing seminars (online/onsite - for 1 or 2 hours) - topics include:

  • stress/depression,
  • suicide awareness,
  • bereavement,
  • building resilience, and
  • trauma.

Chaplains can also provide a 'Listening Post' pop-up stand that provides onsite support and awareness of where staff can be listened to, supported and signposted as required.
