We are excited to have some eight potential new volunteer chaplains entering our interview and induction process following our recent Introduction Day in Edinburgh.
The all-day event was hosted by our partner Palmerston Place Church. More than 20 chaplains and enquirers – from Edinburgh, Forth Valley and the Greater Glasgow area – got together to share information on what it means to be a workplace chaplain during the presentations and workshop sessions - and over lunch.
Regional Organiser Paul Wilson was delighted with the response and thanked chaplains: Jack Quinn (West of Scotland Regional Organiser) Kristina Herbold Ross, David Hart, Jack MacDonald, Judith Wilkinson and Alex Blues, who helped make the day such a success. “All of these folks participated in the day and we have had good feedback and responses from many of the attendees,” he said. “Our thanks too to Palmerston Place Church for hosting the event.
