Chaplain's Christmas 'post'

IMG 4820

Our Fife Chaplain Brian Porteous has been getting out and about as Chaplain to his local Royal Mail delivery office, in Cupar. Here he is (wearing a Santa hat) getting ready to go out with the Christmas post.

Said Brian: “Our posties are wonderful and, even at this time of year, we can take their work for granted. They are up before dawn every day, winter and summer, rain or shine, to make sure we get our cards, letters and packages.

“Apart from the early rises, it is a real privilege to be the Chaplain to the Royal Mail in Cupar. The Cupar Delivery Office, led by manager Colin Anderson, is a great team, but they have faced challenging times this year and I very much look forward to continuing to be there for them in the coming year.

“Spare a thought for all hard working posties, especially at this Christmas season – if you see them say thanks, but above all, please keep your dog under control!”
